The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,000 feet or 1,800 metres).

Captured this from Rockefeller Centre. Tripods were not allowed to be used. So had to rest the camera on the ledge and get this shot. Created an 3 shot HDR to bring out the finer details in the scene but gave it a natural look.
The Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) is a North American bird in the genus Cardinalis; it is also known colloquially as the redbird or common cardinal. It can be found in southern Canada, through the eastern United States from Maine to Texas and south through Mexico. It is found in woodlands, gardens, shrublands, and swamps.
The Dome was lit with extra lights and it appeared brighter than the rest of the structure. So had to use multiple exposure shots and merge them into a HDR to get an evenly lit image of the Capitol. 3 shot HDR using a Tripod.
