Took this picture under real low lighting conditions during a theater performance and hence the red light. I fought this man’s dull steady gaze interesting and I was not sure if he was that engrossed or just meditating.

Ok he only scares the monkeys 🙂 . He sits quietly near the place were tourists eat food at Kaveri Fishing camp and uses his catapult to fling stones into the trees. This seems to freak the monkeys out and keeps them chattering angrily at the edges of the food tent.

The Brahminy Kite also known as the Red-backed Sea-eagle in Australia, is a medium-sized bird of prey. They are found in the Indian Sub-continent, South-east Asia and Australia.
I spotted this beauty just when i was getting down from our vehicle to the sanctuary. I was lucky to have my camera and lens ready.
