Seen at Bandipur National Park, Karnataka. I shot this single 12 minute exposure at the end of shooting the “Star Trails” (click here to view this post) to wrap things up. This turned out to be better than I expected. I am in love with nightsky photography 🙂

ooh awesome! by any chance, is that orange in the right corner the rising/setting sun?
@ Nandini : This shot was taken at about 1 or 2 o’clock at night. The light on the trees on the bottom right is from the nearby street-light or the resort. The sky gets its color from the long exposure. The mildest tinge of red/orange can become pretty prominent.
