Jus one concern..This picture has a lot of noise..I think thats either because the ISO was too high or it is highly post processed (Extreme exposure compensation adjustments can cause noise in post-processing).
Canon S2 IS is a good camera. Try keeping the ISO below 400. This will make silky smooth images!
